Copeland have released a new series of videos aimed at getting straight to the facts to ensure those working in the field of construction stay safe during the ongoing pandemic. The newly released virtual training series focuses on the health and safety of those working in the construction industry during the Covid-19 pandemic, and also shows off the skills and bravery of some of the many talented tradeswomen that nonprofits like Hope Renovations are working with to keep boots on the ground.
Hope Renovations is a nonprofit focused on creating jobs for women in the skilled trades, delivering pre-apprenticeship training and real work experience in the field of construction. Copeland is a training provider focused on delivering online courses for skilled trades. “The global pandemic has completely changed how the construction industry goes to work. Building is a physical job, and tradespeople must work in close quarters with a revolving cast of team members and clients,” said Jordan Smith, M.T. Construction has one of the highest rates of Covid-19 of any industry.
